lyrics
I am the very polestar of movement!
Everything shifts in reference to me!
I will myself to move,
and Earth herself rotates under my feet.
Rolling so seamlessly that I think I've walked,
forming illusions of independent motion,
spawning dozens of invalid theories,
giving rise to nonsensical notions.
But I've stood in the same place,
still as stone,
since the day I was born.
Like a table ruled by its pinball,
my planet rolls under a patient foot,
dragging every grain of sand
and every blade of grass in my path.
Alas, the truth is smothered by those
who want to think they have free will;
a psychogeological marvel,
shrouded in astronomical myth.
Death/doom with absolutely massive production, venomous vocals and interesting war lyrics that might actually teach you a bit about history (no songs about Stalingrad or Waterloo here!). Glass Shrine
An influence on my own works. Upbeat, lightning-fast, pummeling psychedelic death metal à la Mithras with cheery major-scale melodies and an emotional, frank presentation. A modern masterpiece. Glass Shrine
Another project I was involved in - avant-garde metal (compiled in exquisite corpse fashion with no coordination between composers) with 14 musicians, dozens of genres and excellent riffs. Glass Shrine

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it.
That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
