lyrics
It’s a rarely-seen terror,
a senseless breed of predator
bearing a screech that never stops
echoing through the mortal plane
I will never understand its nature,
only know that it is
Massive and deafening,
deathly efficient
It sweeps the soil in calculated movements,
erasing that which has already been erased
Screech always echoing
across the now-barren surface
My constitution wilts before its nature –
massive and deafening,
alien and blind
Death/doom with absolutely massive production, venomous vocals and interesting war lyrics that might actually teach you a bit about history (no songs about Stalingrad or Waterloo here!). Glass Shrine
An influence on my own works. Upbeat, lightning-fast, pummeling psychedelic death metal à la Mithras with cheery major-scale melodies and an emotional, frank presentation. A modern masterpiece. Glass Shrine
Another project I was involved in - avant-garde metal (compiled in exquisite corpse fashion with no coordination between composers) with 14 musicians, dozens of genres and excellent riffs. Glass Shrine

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it.
That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
